Why Church Planting?
We believe part of the reason for our salvation is to join God in His mission. He has always been passionate to create a people who reflect His glory to each other, the world, and back to Himself.
We also believe the best way for those who don't believe to come into contact with the glorious message of the gospel is through planting churches. A healthy church plant only thrives if people are getting to know Jesus. With C. Peter Wagner, we agree: “Planting new churches is the most effective evangelistic methodology known under heaven.”
This might sound daunting, and it should because it is. But God is not daunted by His own mission. We started Church Plant Podcast to demythologise what it's like to be a part of this mission, and to give an honest take about what it looks like to follow Jesus through planting churches. It's our hope that people who wouldn't normally have considered church planting would be more interested through these stories.
